The rivalry between USA and Mexico was rekindled at the CONCACAF Nations League Final at At&T Stadium in Arlington, TX in front of 60,000 fans.

In front of a near sold out crowd both teams went to battle for the bragging rights of the beautiful game. Sergino Dest played a spectacular first half which rallied the USMNT to score right before first half ended to take the lead 1-0 on insane Tyler Adams banger.

Gio Reyna once again lead the United States to go up 2-0 in the second half 62′ with a spectacular volley coming off a bad clearance by the Mexican national team. Gio, who been surrounded in controversy after USMNT HC Gregg Berhalter benched Gio Reyna in the Qatar World Cup and a dramatic fall out with the American fans and club. Reyna has now returned and saved USA from an embarrassing first match loss against the Jamaican National team.

Unfortunately, the game was paused in the 87′ and the 96′ due to the disgraceful discriminatory chants by the Mexican fans in attendance. Fans were seen leaving the stadium once the match was paused for 6′. Prior to the suspension of the game two warnings were issued to the fans to stop.
