Head Coach Peter Mulamba- “ It’s an honor to be at this stage again, playing the game we all love, I never take these things for granted. We’ve been here all of my five seasons as the head coach here, such that this is the standard we’ve set for ourselves, to be competing in these stages. A tremendous amount of work has been put in by the lads, every season to arrive here, this season is no different. We are proud to be able to represent the city, and we hope to put on display the immense amount of football talent and wherewithal that San Antonio has in an abundance.”
Captain Jose Chavez- “ I’ve been here from the beginning with Coach Pete, since we were initially Alamo, and now Surf. It’s been an incredible journey, 5 seasons I have enjoyed. I’m proud to captain this team. There is work still to do on Saturday, no one of us believe we are done. We are really excited to get out there and compete with our rivals from Austin, and hope to come out with the result we desire.”
Andrew Erickson- “As a native of San Antonio, I’m always honored to represent my city. Playing in front of family and friends is a great joy. This team, as long as I’ve been a part of it has always strived for excellence. We are working hard in practice to make sure we’re ready for the battle ahead on Saturday. We hope many can come out and support!”
