Post Match Comments from SA Surf Head Coach, Peter Mulamba
” As the old adage goes, if you don’t take chances, you’ll get punished. We conceded goals off two mistakes on our part and we just couldn’t put the ball in the back of the net. But that’s football, the lads I felt controlled the game, played most of it in the opponents half, but just couldn’t get the ball over the line. Football can be cruel like that, but we love it anyways. Our hats off to the winners, they did what was needed tonight, we wish them all the best at Nationals. I’m gutted, we’re massively disappointed.
We will lick our wounds, but get up again and have a go next season. I’m proud of the lads, and proud to be their coach. We hope to continue to represent San Antonio football well in the year to come.”
