With the boys high school soccer predictions out, now it’s the girls turn. Same as with the boys, UIL realigned the districts which will create some interesting match ups and create new rivalries.
Last year, we possibly saw the best senior class of soccer players from the girls. It is testament to the hard work and dedication of the high school, club and academy coaches developing the talent and leaders; taking girls soccer to a whole new level in and around San Antonio.
The 2019-2020 season was left out with a UIL State Champion and some contenders feel like they have unfinished business. While some schools are strong contenders to a UIL State Championship, others are looking improve on last season’s records while others build teamwork and comradery. At the the end of the day, it shouldn’t be about wins, draws or loses but building a team of leaders and skills for the future.
6A Region 4 District 27
Last year, New Braunfels Canyon were the district winners but thy have made the move to 5A and a new contender will rise to take the crown. New Braunfels, Smithson Valley and Cibolo Steele all had 13 plus wins. It will be a hotly contested season to see who wins the district.

If we had to pick a “Group of Death” from all the Districts we cover between the boys and girls this would be it. The top 7 teams are all quality and have a shot to make the playoffs, unfortunately only the top four spots go. They will be plenty of must see matches from this district all season.
