TAPPS Playoffs: Central Catholic boys win in State Quarterfinal

The Buttons went to the campus of Texas Lutheran University in Seguin to face Kelly Catholic from Beaumont, TX in TAPPS Division I state quarterfinal match on Thursday afternoon.

Central Catholic came out on top 3-0 over Kelly Catholic with goals from Jose Gallegos, Daveen Mazaheri-Campos and Sean Fleming. Assists by Chris Rios-Cruz and Sevastian Rodriguez, while Alejandro Chavarria kept his clean sheet with four saves.

Next match for the Central Catholic Buttons (14-2-0) will in the TAPPS Division I State Semifinal versus rival St. Thomas Catholic (25-2-1)
