Reagan High School Rattlers and Lake Travis Cavaliers (Austin) met in New Braunfels last evening in Round 3 of the UIL 6A girls soccer playoffs. Lake Travis took an early 1-0 lead before the Rattlers drew it even on a penalty kick due to a foul inside the box. Lake Travis regained the lead 2-1 with 14 seconds before half time. Lake Travis scored two unanswered in the second half and come out on top 4-1. Both teams played well and battled throughout the match.
Lake Travis will next face Juarez-Lincoln (La Joya) which is making their first appearance in the regional. Match is set for April 12th at 10:00 AM in Brownsville.
