Jerry Comalander Stadium, San Antonio – A tightly contested match between the Johnson HS Jaguars and New Braunfels Unicorns went to a Penalty Shootout.
Unicorns took and early lead and Johnson scored two unanswered before the half. Unicorns battles back to tie it 2-2 late in the match and played two overtime periods. Johnson came out on top in penalties 3-2.
Johnson HS (16-6-2) will next face inter-city rival Reagan Rattlers (14-8-2) in Regional Quarterfinals of the 6A boys soccer playoffs, winner will face the winner of Hanna HS v Harlingen South.
